Beauty For Real Illuminating Lip Gloss

The cre­ator, Leslie Munsell, was pre­vi­ously color cos­met­ics cre­ator for Aveda. She used to be a free­lance makeup artist for celebri­ties, mod­els and has been in the indus­try for more than 20 years. Beauty For Real is cre­ated for the con­cept that women want to look good and have fun while doing it. She wants a brand that show that beauty is attain­able to all women, not just a selected few.

The line launched on Nov 18. Similar to GOSH Light'N Shine Lip Glaze (6 col­ors, $20), Lit Lips (5 col­ors, $12.95), Lano Lips (3 col­ors, $14.99) and Liparazzi (3 col­ors, $25), the Illuminating Lip Gloss fea­tured a mir­ror and an LED light on the lid so you can put on lip gloss in low light environment.

According to the website,

the for­mula is loaded with plant-derived antiox­i­dants like green tea and grape seed extracts that deliver regen­er­a­tive ele­ments and anti-aging capa­bil­i­ties. Avocado oil and aloe vera bring essen­tial vit­a­mins, are antibac­te­r­ial and highly emol­lient. A hint of grape­fruit and mint bring a clean, fresh aroma.

It comes in 9 shades and is sold for $22 dollars.
