While it is nice to know that there are some wonder beauty products out there that are changing lives, it is even more useful to know what doesn’t. Here are the 3 products we picked out that are way overrated, overpriced, or simply, do not work:
1. First Aid Beauty Detox Eye Roller
When you have puffy eyes and dark circles in the morning after a night of partying, the very, very last thing you want is bombing your eyes with burning sensations. Mona (smerfette) sent in her review of the First Aid Beauty Detox Eye Roller ($24 at Sephora) and complained about the intense tingly burning sensation under her eyes, and that the roller ball of the tip of the tube makes it harder to the get product out. Mona tells us in her review that she still perfers concealer to the First Aid Beauty Detox Eye Roller — the product feels dangerous, the packaging is not user-friendly, and the product itself doesn’t do much. Well, our verdict? Overrated!
2. Perricone MD Cosmeceuticals Synergy Anti-aging Aromatic
Heather Ann (HeatherAnn1055) sent in this hilarious review of the Perricone MD Cosmeceuticals Synergy Anti-aging Aromatic, telling us that the product smells kind of nice and a de facto $75 roll-on perfume that is “an innovative anti-aging solution to the brain”. A revolutionary perfume that stimulates brain function and eventually helps you achieve anti-aging results! How futuristic, surreal, and… convoluted! Watch how Heather Ann compared it to good old snake oil sellers on the street who are kind of insane. Hmmm not exactly something you are very excited to try? We aren’t that surprised.
3. Pharmacopia Citrus Body Wash
Su (ValleyGurlFrmHell) sent in a review on Pharmacopia Citrus Body Wash with the comment that “it doesn’t lather up at all, makes you feel sticky all over, you smell like nothing after you shower, and it has no benefits”. Well. That’s a pretty awful review for Pharmacopia Citrus Body Wash. I guess this one is fairly straightforwardly overrated.

this stila makeup player. it’s just a makeup box with speakers built in. it “connects to your mp3 player or smartphone for audio or music playback.” that’s so stupid. hahaha http://www.stilabeautytube.com/beautytube.asp

that’s funny!! i used the mario badescu silver powder for black heads before but it ended up simply being a handful of white powder on my face that didnt do anything. one of the stupidest experiences ever!
