Remember the fresh-faced Lindsay Lohan in Parent Trap? It’s ok if you don’t, because I don’t either. It seems like excessive suntanning has taken a toll on the young freckled starlet’s skin — many of her recent photos show wrinkles on her forehead and signs of early aging.
And what’s more appropriate than bringing in Hissyfit, a popular Australian SPF 50+ tainted moisturizer from the sunshine-land to save our skin from early aging like Lindsay Lohan’s? One Hissyfit products stands out from the pack — the Hissyfit Saving Face — and after trying it out for a couple of weeks, we are absolutely loving the product! The Hissyfit Saving Face is essentially a tainted moisturizer with SPF and anti-aging ingredients that could be used as a liquid foundation.
And here are the main reasons we love Hissyfit… together with one slight catch:
1. SPF 50+
First of all, every one know how difficult it is to find a tainted moisturizer anywhere with a SPF above 15. Hissyfit Saving Face has all natural SPF 50+ and offers broad spectrum
UVA/UVB protection for your skin from damaging rays of the sun. If there’s any one country knows the most about protecting themselves from the sun, that will definitely be Australia!
2. Anti-aging extracts
My personal favorite thing about Hissyhit Saving Face is its clever combination of natural skin care and cosmetics. One of the key botantical extracts in the Hissyfit Saving Face isthe native Australian daisy, cehami (centipedia cunnignamii). This ingredient has been used for centuries by Australian Aborginal trives for anti-inflammatory and cell renewal purposes. The promegranate and green tea extracts in the Hissyfit Saving Face also carry rich anti-oxidants and help sooth your skin.
3. Moisturizing and water resistant
I am very used to applying light moisturizer before using any foundation, but the Hissyfit Saving Face is moisturizing and smooth enough that I could actually ditch that step before applying any makeup. You could also use it simply as a day moisturizer that gives you a more even skin stone. The Hissyfit Saving Face is also water resistant, so you don’t have to worry about going to a sad movie and coming out of the theatre with smudges all over your white shirt.
Hmmm one catch…
Our only complain in this Hissyfit Saving Face review is the product’s limited range of color choices, and the 9 choices are all a little bit on the dark side. I am fairly fair-skinned but not extraordinarily pale, but I find myself using the lightest shade (Nude) instead of Sand or Fresh, which almost make my skin look a little yellowish. So be careful when you choose a shade of the Hissyfit Saving Face for yourself!
