Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion

With all the sum­mer prod­ucts such as sun­screen, after sun cream and the nat­ural ele­ments of sun and sweat on my face, it feels like my skin is feel­ing rough so I decided to try a few exfo­liants. One of the bet­ter exfo­liants is dr. brandt’s micro­der­mabra­sion.  A good exfo­liant is like a good man, both are hard to find.  Sometimes oldies are good­ies since the main con­cept is to dis­pose of the top layer of the epi­der­mis or skin and a sim­ple con­cept so no fancy sci­ence required.

I met dr. brant sev­eral years ago at his book sign­ing.  He said I had very nice skin and was sur­prised at my actual age.     I also read his book, age-less.  He is a hard­core pro­po­nent of botox and his style of prod­ucts is strong so I was not sur­prised at the strength of this prod­uct.  dr brandt is seri­ous busi­ness when it comes to fight­ing aging!  Just look at his face, he is not going to give up on grav­ity with­out a fight.  His face was a bit wrin­kled but taunt and didn’t have a sin­gle expres­sion.  It is not for sen­si­tive skin or  younger skin.

Pros

  • It works.  When dr. brandt tells you his prod­uct is going to do some­thing, it gets the job done!
  • High qual­ity ingre­di­ents with sooth­ing nat­ural extracts to com­bat the phys­i­cal abrasion
  • You can do it your­self at home

Cons

  • It is expen­sive, $75 for 1.7 oz.
  • There are many alter­na­tive products
  • It is very abra­sive when I am using it, the scrub­bing is harsh
  • Not for sen­si­tive skin

The ingre­di­ents of micro­der­mabra­sion prod­uct are very high qual­ity many sooth­ing ele­ments com­bined with phys­i­cal abra­sives like mag­ne­sium oxide crys­tals.  The sooth­ing nat­ural extracts are grape­fruit, clover honey, hibis­cus flower, algae, oat, vit­a­min and jojoba oil.   With these ingre­di­ents, it is truly high per­for­mance with imme­di­ate results.

I rein­tro­duced myself and tried micro­der­mabra­sion in a jar by dr. brandt again.  The scrub­bing feels like glass is scrubbed on my face in cir­cu­lar motions for 1 minute but after the wash­ing off of the prod­uct, my face is baby fine and ultra silky smooth.  Great exfo­li­a­tion helps my other skin prod­ucts absorb into my skin more eas­ily and be more effective.
